Tuesdays for Troubled Times resumes

We live in times of uncertainty, anxiety and in some cases fear. We echo the words of the Psalmist in such troubles times: “Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord. Lord hear my prayer.” When the ground seems to be shifting under us, let us cling to the One who is our Rock and Redeemer. Join your pastors for Midday Prayer each Tuesday from 12:15 – 12:45 as we pray for world leaders at home and abroad, for our country and the world, and for all those who have lost homes or jobs and the losses associated with each. Where can we turn but to the Lord? See you on Tuesday just after noon.

Warmth for Wake - Community Project

St. Mark's UMC has agreed to provide labor for Warmth for Wake, Saturday January 10th. We need servants with chainsaws who can cut up logs, split logs into fireplace lengths using hydraulic splitters, stack the prepared logs onto trucks, and we need at least two pickup trucks to deliver wood to needy Wake residents who use wood for heat.  If you can help, you are invited to contact Tom Campbell by email or phone (781-3728). This is a wonderful service project.  We look forward to seeing you on the 10th.
